Overview

The Extron MSW 4SV rs is a four input S-video switcher with a built-in video encoder for simultaneous output of composite video and S-video on BNC and 4-pin mini DIN connectors respectively. Dual outputs provide for viewing on two separate displays or the ability to record and view video simultaneously. To ensure glitch-free transitions, the MSW 4SV rs switches during the vertical interval of whichever signal is present on input one. Multiple control options are available, including auto-input switching, RS-232, contact closure, and front panel input selection buttons with LED indicators. The MSW 4SV rs is housed in a 1U, quarter rack width metal enclosure and includes an external, universal power supply.
