Cable construction requirements
Shall provide two (2) 50/125 µm graded-index, bend-insensitive, laser-optimized multimode fibers
Glass fiber core diameter of 50 µm
Glass fiber outer diameter of 125 µm
Shall provide a 900 µm tight buffer coating surrounding each glass fiber
Shall provide Aramid yarn as the strengthening material surrounding each tight-buffered fiber
Shall provide a two (2) mm diameter, OFNP plenum-rated jacket to meet NEC, CSA, and ICEA safety standards, surrounding each tight-buffered fiber and Aramid yarn strengthening material
Shall provide duplex zip-cord cable construction for strength and protection of the glass fiber
Termination requirements
Shall be unterminated at both ends
Shall be compatible with Extron QLC MM Quick LC Fiber Optic Connectors for field termination
Shall be compatible with the Extron Fiber Optic Termination Kit
