1. Provide a fiber optic matrix switcher board designed for use with the Extron SMX System MultiMatrix modular, multi-plane matrix switcher that shall support the routing and distribution of video, audio, and control signals
   1. Single slot fiber optic matrix switcher board designed for use with the SMX System MultiMatrix
   2. Input and output requirements
      1. Shall provide thirty-two (32) LC-type connectors for fiber optic signals
         1. Sixteen (16) input connectors
         2. Sixteen (16) output connectors
      2. Shall support remote device connections via fiber optic transmitters and receivers
      3. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX and FOX II Series SM fiber optic extenders
      4. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX Series SM fiber optic products for AV signal distribution and routing over fiber optic cabling
      5. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX II Series SM fiber optic products for AV signal distribution and routing over fiber optic cabling
   3. Signal switching requirements
      1. Shall support signal switching between any input and any output
      2. Shall support all-digital switching of DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, 3G-SDI, RGB, HD component, and standard definition video, as well as audio and control signals
      3. Shall support a mix of digital and analog video source signal types
      4. Shall support computer and video resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and 10-bit color bit depth
         1. Support 4K up to 30 Hz with 8 bits per color over one connection
         2. Support 4K at 50 or 60 Hz with 8 bits per color over two parallel connections
         3. Support 4K at 50 or 60 Hz with 10 bits per color over four parallel connections
         4. Support 4K at 120 Hz with 8 bits per color over four parallel connections
      5. Shall be compatible with Extron FOX Series USB extenders for all-digital switching of USB signals
   4. Transmission requirements
      1. Shall support a maximum signal transmission distance up to 30 km (18.75 miles) over singlemode fiber optic cable at 1310 nm
      2. Shall provide an optical loss budget of 13 dB between each board I/O and a connected FOX or FOX II Series SM device
   5. HDCP requirements
      1. Shall include Extron SpeedSwitch® technology for high-speed switching of HDCP-encrypted content
   6. Setup, control, and configuration requirements
      1. Shall be installed in a SMX System MultiMatrix enclosure
      2. Shall be configured and controlled via the SMX System MultiMatrix enclosure
      3. Shall provide a signal via the SMX System MultiMatrix enclosure to trigger an external control system for alarm notification in case of fiber link loss
   7. Power requirements
      1. Shall receive power from the backplane when installed in a SMX System MultiMatrix enclosure
   8. General requirements
      1. Shall be hot-swappable
      2. Shall provide LED indicators for fiber link status
      3. Shall meet regulatory compliances
         1. CE, c-UL, UL
         2. CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, VCCI
         3. RoHS, WEEE
      4. Shall provide at least three (3) years parts and labor warranty
