The Extron SW 6AV and SW 6AV RCA are high performance composite video and stereo audio switchers. These switchers feature a genlock input and vertical interval switching, providing synchronization of video signals of one device with those from another video source and resulting in smooth and clean transitions when switching between inputs. The switchers include adjustable gain and attenuation to allow users to set the individual input audio levels, providing no significant difference in volume when switching between sources. SW AV four and six input switchers offer multiple forms of control, including front panel buttons, RS-232, and auto-switching. They can also be controlled via the Extron KP 6 keypad and IR 102 universal remote.

The SW 6AV and SW 6AV RCA have 300 MHz (-3 dB) of video bandwidth. Video inputs are on female BNC connectors. There are two individually buffered and active video outputs on female BNC connectors. The SW 6AV accepts balanced and unbalanced stereo audio on captive screw connectors, while the SW 6AV RCA accepts unbalanced stereo audio on RCA connectors.
