The Extron RGB 468xi SC-AFM 6 is an architectural interface that can be mounted in a Steel City AFM 6 floor box. A low profile design provides ample space for cables and connectors within the floor box. Each mounting plate is engineered to fit easily into any of the floor box configurations, making installations quick and clean. The RGB 468xi SC-AFM 6 also features an opening to accommodate up to three AAPs Architectural Adapter Plate for signal pass-through connectors or control modules.

With a 15-150 kHz horizontal frequency range and 300 MHz (-3 dB) of RGB video bandwidth, the RGB 468xi SC-AFM 6 features a female 15-pin HD connector for connecting computers to display devices along with Extron's ADSP™ - Advanced Digital Sync Processing technology. ADSP provides all-digital processing of sync signals, avoiding the tearing and other image distortions encountered when using poor sync processing methods with digital display devices, such as DLP, LCD, plasma, etc.

In addition, the RGB 468xi SC-AFM 6 is VGA-QXGA compatible, and includes the added convenience of a buffered local monitor output. Sync output is DIP switch-selectable for composite, separate horizontal and vertical sync, and sync on green. Audio interfacing is also included, allowing the input of unbalanced, computer-generated signals to be buffered and converted to balanced, line level signals. Output connectors are on five BNC pigtails.

ADSP™ - Advanced Digital Sync Processing — An exclusive Extron technology that conditions sync signals to provide reliable operation with a variety of signal sources and display types. ADSP reshapes the sync signals, restores proper TTL voltage levels, and maintains the original video to sync timing relationships while allowing centering control.

Active PC audio to balanced audio interfacing — Converts unbalanced PC audio to balanced line level audio for output on a captive screw connector.

Three-position level/peaking control — Boosts and equalizes video signals to compensate for signal loss and high frequency attenuation that occur in long cable runs.

Horizontal shift control — Shifts the displayed image left or right on the display screen. Also called "horizontal centering".

Buffered female 15-pin HD local monitor output

Opening for three AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates, AAPs sold separately — Allow for signal pass-through connectors. AAPs sold separately.

Mounts in Steel City® AFM 6 floor box — Mounting plate engineered to fit easily into floor box, making installation quick and clean. Floor box sold separately.

External universal ENERGY STAR® qualified power supply included, replacement part # 70-775-01 — Provides worldwide compatibility, low power consumption, and reduced operating costs.
