The Extron RCP 2000 Remote Control Panel enables control of input selection, transition effects and duration, and picture control of the ISS 408 and ISS 506 switchers from a remote location. The RCP 2000 can be placed on a table away from the equipment rack for convenient operation by a switcher operator. It can connect to the ISS 506 by way of its Ethernet or RS-232 port for integration flexibility. The RCP 2000 is equipped with a T-bar for manual control of dissolve or transition speed, as well as a gooseneck lamp for low-light environments.

  • Enables control of input selection, transition effects and duration, and picture control of the ISS 408 and ISS 506 switchers
  • Designed for convenient operation of the switcher from a remote location via IP Link® or RS-232
  • Input selection control for Program and Preview outputs — The switch operator uses two sets of input buttons: one set controlling the Program output and the other controlling the Preview output. The switch operator can view the next switch by selecting it through the Preview keys. This enables the operator to seamlessly switch the Preview to the Program output or insert a transition effect when the physical switch is made. A freeze button is provided to freeze the frame of an image, while a black screen button can be used for black screen output.
  • Comprehensive picture controls — Centering, sizing, detail, contrast, brightness, color, and tint are included. When a picture control is selected, the button will illuminate to confirm the selection.
  • Transition effects, selection buttons, and T-bar — Control the type of switch used between "preview" and "program" outputs. A seamless cut and dissolve button is provided.
  • T-bar transition controller for manual control of dissolve speed
  • Gooseneck lamp for low-light environments
  • Ethernet monitoring and control — With Ethernet control, the RCP 2000 can make one switch while being updated for another over Ethernet networks - LAN, WAN, or the Internet.
