The PDA 108 is a player sync distribution amplifier. It provides eight sync reference signals for JMP 9600 2K media players. Video outputs from JMP 9600 2K units will be "pixel locked" when supplied with a sync reference signal from the PDA 108. PDA Outputs are connected to the LOCK reference enabled input on JMP 9600 2K units. Multiple PDA 108 units can be cascaded to support systems where more than 8 sync reference signals are required. Use Extron PSC4 sync cables with PDA 108.
JMP 9600 units are often used to playback content in passive 3D stereo projection systems or large format display arrays consisting of ultra high resolution 4K projectors, edge matched or edge blended projection arrays. The PDA 108 player sync distribution amplifier is used in applications such as these where content played back across multiple JMP 9600 2K media players must be precisely synchronized. PDA 108 provides 8 sync reference outputs which are connected to the LOCK input on JMP 9600 units. One JMP 9600 LOCK output unit serves as the system reference input. The correct production and encoding of JPEG2000 content, show control programming using Linear Time Code – LTC and synchronization provided by PDA 108 ensures that the outputs of all JMP 9600 units will be pixel locked.
