Extron NAVigator LinkLicenses are feature upgrades for Extron NAV Pro AV over IP system products. These LinkLicenses offer a variety of capabilities, such as empowering an entry-level NAVigator system to handle additional endpoints, or enabling third-party control of NAV systems.

LinkLicenses are software-enabled enhancements that allow you to easily upgrade Extron products. There are several types of LinkLicenses and each type unlocks a unique set of features and capabilities. With LinkLicenses, you can upgrade your system right out of the box or, over time, as your AV system demands grow.

LinkLicense for NAVigator Third-Party Control

This LinkLicense enables third-party control of NAV systems. These third-party control systems can use SIS commands* to make and break NAV connections in addition to various other functions. However, Extron Pro Series control system integration with the NAVigator is required to control Secure Platform Devices on NAV endpoints such as RS-232 and IR control ports. The NAVigator System Manager acts as a centralized communication bridge for secure, end-to-end AES encrypted control of all attached devices.

*The third-party control LinkLicense does not enable control of SPD devices.

LinkLicense for Additional NAVigator Endpoints

These LinkLicenses empower an entry-level NAVigator system, which supports 16 endpoints, to handle additional endpoints. To support any size application, three LinkLicense® packages are available to support 48, 96, or 240 endpoints per NAVigator device. Multiple NAVigator devices working together can support thousands of endpoints.
