The Extron MTP C7 T 15HD RS Twisted Pair Transmitter transmits RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB, HDTV, and other high resolution video and RS-232 signals to a compatible MTP C7 RL 15HD RS or MTP C7 RL 15HD RS SEQ receiver. The MTP C7 15HD RS Series models can be used with any CAT 7 twisted pair cable for cable runs of 600 feet (185 meters) or more with XGA signals, and 450 feet (135 meters) or more with UXGA signals. MTPs are compact so they can fit just about anywhere: in equipment racks, under tables and desktops, or next to a projector.

The MTP C7 T 15HD RS accepts high resolution computer-video on a female 15-pin HD connector and serial communication signals on a female 3.5 mm captive screw connector. The MTP C7 T 15HD RS also features a local monitor output for systems that require a local display.

Extron MTP C7 15HD RS transmitters and receivers precisely optimize image quality for various cable lengths using adjustment controls on both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitters feature a pre-peaking switch that provides additional compensation at the front end for the longest cable runs. The receivers offer separate variable level and peaking controls, allowing users to dial in the exact amount of adjustment required for each unique cable run.

MTP C7 15HD RS Series transmitters and receivers are compatible with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 and are ideal for such applications as large training facilities, museums, airports, movie theaters, and hotels. These products are well suited for any application that requires a cost-effective solution for sending RGBHV, RGBS, HDTV, component video, S-video, and composite video with RS-232 signals long distances over CAT 7 cable.

The MTP C7 15HD RS Series is designed for easy integration into new and existing AV environments. The entire family of Extron MTP 15HD products sets the price/performance standard for audio/video twisted pair technology. The MTP C7 15HD RS Series is ideal for systems where high resolution video signals must be transmitted long distances to a display using CAT 7 twisted pair cable.
