MMX 62 AV 6x2 Composite Video & Stereo Audio 60-557-21 Retired
MMX 62 AV RCA 6x2 Composite Video & Stereo Audio - RCA 60-557-31 Retired

This product has been retired.

The Extron MMX 62 AV and MMX 62 AV RCA are designed to route composite video and stereo audio signals. The MMX 62 AV provides balanced/unbalanced stereo audio on captive screw connectors, while the MMX 62 AV RCA provides unbalanced stereo audio on RCA jacks. Both models offer vertical interval switching, providing seamless transitions when switching between synchronous video sources; front panel security lockout for environments where easy access is undesirable; quad standard for switching between NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, PAL, and SECAM for worldwide compatibility; audio breakaway; input audio gain and attenuation; and RS-232 for control via a control system.

Features

  • 150 MHz (-3 dB) video bandwidth, fully loaded — Ensures switching and distribution of video signals without degradation. The ratings are worst case specifications, i.e., the MMX matrix switchers provide 150 MHz (-3dB) at full performance capacity when one input signal drives all outputs.
  • Buffered I/O — Each input and output is individually buffered to provide maximum performance and virtually no crosstalk.
  • Audio input gain and attenuation — Allows users to set the level of audio gain or attenuation, -18dB to +24dB. Individual input audio levels may be adjusted so there are no noticeable volume differences when switching between sources.
  • RS-232 control port — Using serial commands, the MMX 62 AV can be controlled and configured via the included Windows-based control software, or integrated into a control system. Extron products use the SIS™ - Simple Instruction Set command protocol, a set of basic ASCII code commands that allow for quick and easy programming. The RS-232 port also makes it easy to install firmware updates.
  • View I/O mode — Allows users to easily see which individual inputs and outputs are actively connected.
  • Inputs: Video on female BNC connectors; audio on captive screw connectors or RCA jacks
  • Outputs: Video on female BNC connectors; audio on captive screw connectors or RCA jacks
  • Captive screw or RCA audio connections — The MMX 62 AV provides captive screw input and output connectors for balanced or unbalanced stereo audio signals. The MMX 62 AV RCA model features RCA female jacks and are compatible with unbalanced audio signals only.
  • Audio breakaway — Provides the capability to break an audio signal away from its corresponding video signal, allowing the audio and video signals from one source to be switched to different destinations.
  • 1U, rack-mountable, half rack width metal enclosure — Can be rack-mounted using an optional rack shelf.
  • Highly reliable, energy-efficient external universal power supply included, replacement part #70-775-01 — Provides worldwide power compatibility, with high demonstrated reliability and low power consumption for reduced operating costs.
