The FPC 6000 Front Panel Controller is designed for use with Extron FOX®, FOX3, and Matrix 1K systems. It incorporates an intuitive, 15” touchscreen control interface with simple, straightforward menus for setup, control, monitoring, and diagnostic functions via a local area network. Users can access global and rooming presets. USB switching is supported for FOX3 systems. One or more controllers can be connected to the network for control of the switcher from multiple locations. The FPC 6000 is housed in a 7U high, rack-mountable panel that can be installed in an equipment rack or control console.

  • Multiple matrix control — Can store up to six IP addresses for multiple matrix control.
  • Global presets — Frequently used I/O configurations may be saved and recalled from the controller. This time-saving feature allows I/O configurations to be set up and stored in memory for future use. FOX supports up to 32 presets and FOX3 supports up to 16 presets.
  • New Secure Partitioning segregates sources and destinations in a secure environment — Enables matrix partitioning into smaller sub-switchers for segregating sources and destinations. Sources can only be routed to destinations within the same partition.
  • Rooming/Output Group Presets — FOX supports secure partitioning for up to 10 individual rooms, each with 10 presets for added flexibility and control in signal routing. FOX3 supports up to 80 rooms with 10 available presets for each.
  • 7U, rack-mountable panel can also be installed in a control console
  • Includes PI 140 Power Injector — Touchpanel receives power and communication over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply.
  • Optional, external Extron Everlast™ power supply available, part #70‑769‑01 — Provides worldwide power compatibility with high-demonstrated reliability and low power consumption.
  • Extron Everlast Power Supply is covered by a 7‑year parts and labor warranty
