Extron ISM 824 MultiSwitcher Receives EMEA+ InAVation Award

Anaheim, California (22 February, 2008) - Extron Electronics is pleased to announce that the Extron ISM 824 Modular Integration Scaling MultiSwitcher has won the 2008 InAVation Award for Most InAVative Video Processing or Distribution Product for Commercial Use. The ISM 824 is a unique, eight input, eight output, modular matrix switcher that allows for simultaneous video and RGB scaling plus wideband switching in a single, compact enclosure. It is ideal for applications in boardrooms, auditoriums, and classrooms or any environment that requires high-performance signal routing with flexible, on-board signal processing.

Seven optional output boards are available for the ISM 824. These cards include three universal RGB / video scalers, a video-only scaler, a scan converter, and single and dual output wideband boards. A variety of combinations supports a wide range of signal distribution and signal processing requirements. The boards are installed in a simple, plug-in backplane, providing for system upgrades at virtually any time before, during, or after system installation.
