Extron Products Win Awards at InfoComm 2010

Anaheim, California (June 15, 2010) - Extron is pleased to announce that the Annotator and the USP 507 Universal Signal Processor won awards at the InfoComm 2010 show in Las Vegas. The Annotator won the Most Innovative Video Processing Product award from Systems Contractor News, and the USP 507 won the Best Video Signal Processing or Distribution Product award from Rental & Staging Systems. Both awards were presented to Extron on Tuesday, June 8th during InfoComm 2010.
The Extron Annotator is a high performance, hardware-based annotation processor for video and computer-video sources. It allows the presenter to draw, point, or add text to electronic presentation materials using a touchscreen and/or a keyboard and mouse. The Extron USP 507 is a high performance Universal Signal Processor, an all-in-one scaler, video transcoder, and digital-to-analog video converter. It also provides analog-to-digital video capability as an option. A seven input switcher supports digital and analog video formats, from high resolution DVI, RGBHV, and optional HD-SDI to composite video.
