WindoWall

Extron WindoWall^® processing is a powerful, versatile, and user-friendly approach for multi-display videowall systems. It features a highly scalable architecture that delivers optimum performance and reliability. Additionally, HDCP compliance at each HDMI input and output assures worry-free presentation of protected content. WindoWall employs a distributed video processing architecture that dedicates a separate high resolution scaling receiver/decoder to each display in the videowall system. This makes WindoWall fully scalable, supporting a wide variety of display layouts up to an 8x8 array.

WindoWall technology enables a mix of single screen and multi-screen image magnification across an array of displays. It supports up to eight videowalls within an XTP or NAV system, with up to eight assignable presets per wall, for quick and easy switching between different image arrangements. Simple and intuitive features such as canvas management, preset configuration, and mullion compensation enable flexible setup without the need for expensive custom programming. WindoWall makes XTP and NAV ideal solutions for adding videowall functionality to control rooms, board rooms, lobbies, emergency operations centers, or other mission-critical applications.

WindoWall utilizes Extron patented Vector 4K™ Scaling Technology to enable videowall capabilities on XTP scaling receivers and NAV scaling decoders. Vector 4K is the latest generation of Extron scaling engines, specifically engineered for critical quality 4K signal processing. Extron’s Vector 4K scaling engine empowers WindoWall to deliver the precision required to manage the high pixel counts of today's 4K displays and content.
