Anaheim, California (September 27, 2000) – Extron introduces the new 15-pin HD Staging Cable. Designed for staging events that use AV components with 15-pin HD connectors, this cable is an economical solution for applications that do not require ID bits to be passed to the projector or monitor. Rental and staging applications usually require cabling with exceptional durability and flexibility. The 15-pin HD Staging Cable is molded connectors help to extend the cable's life in multi-use staging environments. For increased flexibility, this cable utilizes five mini high resolution coaxial conductors for passing the RGBHV signals of a VGA, SVGA, XGA, or SXGA source to the display. The quicker the setup, the lower the labor costs, so the added longevity and flexibility of this easy-to-pull cable can reduce time and financial expenditures. Male-to-female and male-to-male versions are available in various lengths of 3' (0.91 m) up to 250' (76 m).
