Anaheim, California (February 10, 2014) - We are pleased to introduce Extron Pro Series Control Systems. Extron takes configurable control to a whole new level with advanced configuration software, exciting new touchpanels, more powerful processors, and a broad range of other tools and breakthrough technologies geared to handle the evolving complexities of today’s AV system designs. There are over 40 Pro Series control products; all designed to make complex systems simpler and simple systems more powerful, and all backed by the Extron Quality Guarantee and S3 customer support you trust.

“With the introduction of Extron Pro Control Series, we are entering a new era for Extron configurable control where powerful hardware and software work together to accommodate more elaborate AV system designs,” says Casey Hall, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Extron. “At the heart of these new systems is Global Configurator Professional, which is loaded with advanced configuration tools including conditional logic, variables, and macros.”

The new Pro Series control products consists of 12 exciting new, more powerful TouchLink Pro touchpanels in sizes from 3.5” to 15”, including five with vibrant, capacitive touchscreens; a TouchLink interface that allows a third party touchscreens of any size to be used as a control interface within an Extron control system; six advanced and versatile IP Link Pro control processors; and Extron LinkLicense, which allows people to use their mobile devices or computers as a primary control interface in an Extron control system.
