The Extron MPA 152 Plus is a quarter rack width, stereo integrated mini power amplifier that delivers 15 watts rms per channel. The MPA 152 Plus features a 90 dB signal-to-noise ratio with 0.1% THD+N, offering exceptional performance for speaker systems requiring compact, economical audio amplification. This ENERGY STAR® qualified amplifier features an Extron exclusive, highly efficient, advanced Class D amplifier design with patented CDRS™ - Class D Ripple Suppression technology that provides a smooth, clean audio waveform and an improvement in signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifiers. The Extron exclusive, high efficiency design generates very little heat and allows the amplifier to be fanless and operate in environments with little or no ventilation.
The Extron MPA 601 is an ENERGY STAR® qualified mono audio amplifier delivering 60 watts rms output. Housed in a 1U convection cooled and UL 2043 plenum rated enclosure, it meets UL requirements for in-ceiling installations. The MPA 601 employs a highly efficient advanced Class D amplifier design featuring our patented CDRS™ - Class D Ripple Suppression technology providing a smooth, clean audio waveform and an improvement in signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifiers. Three stereo inputs are summed together so three separate sources can be connected without altering performance. With more power in a compact design, a defeatable standby timer and professional performance, the MPA 601 is ideal for applications with space restrictions that require sufficient power for a small to medium distributed audio system.

Application Diagram
In this simple classroom example, video from three sources is connected directly to a projector and audio from those sources is connected directly to the buffered inputs on an MPA 601 because only one source will be played at a time. An MLC Plus 100 MediaLink Plus Controller selects inputs on the projector and controls volume & mute on the amplifier. Four SF 3CT LP ceiling speakers provide even audio coverage across the room.
