Anaheim, California (September 27, 2000) – Extron introduces a new series of 15-pin HD cable and connector install kits. These convenient kits are designed for installations in plenum and non-plenum environments. Each Mini HR cable has a 15-pin HD connector attached on one end; the other end has no connector attached, so the cable is easier to pull and maneuver. Depending on the model of the kit, the installer has a choice of BNC connectors or 15-pin HD connectors for attachment to the other end. These kits utilize five miniature high resolution coax cables. This cable is lighter, smaller in diameter, and more convenient to install than standard 15-pin cable while still offering excellent video performance for carrying high-resolution signals. The 15-pin HD Male to BNC-5 Install Kit includes a 15-pin HD male connector attached at one end of a plenum-rated Mini HR cable. Five male BNC connectors are provided for attachment. This cable is NEC CL2P rated for use in plenum environments. Plenum 15-pin HD Male to 15-pin HD Install Kit
