Extron Now Shipping DTP2 T 211 4K/60 HDMI Transmitter with Audio Embedding

Anaheim, California (September 23, 2020) - Extron is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the DTP2 T 211, a twisted pair HDMI transmitter with advanced performance and innovative features. It provides distribution of HDMI and multichannel audio, as well as bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a shielded CATx cable. This HDCP 2.3-compliant transmitter accommodates the full 18 Gbps data rate of HDMI 2.0b and support video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling. The compact enclosure size and features such as remote power capability make the DTP2 T 211 transmitter ideal for discreet placement in lecterns, beneath tables, or wherever needed to meet application requirements.

The DTP2 T 211 transmitter provides reliable, long distance transmission of video, audio, and control signals. In addition to enabling extension of higher video data rates, it supports Deep Color up to 12-bit, CEC pass-through, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. DDC communication of EDID and HDCP is continuously maintained between a source and display, ensuring direct compatibility and optimal signal transmission between devices. In addition, the transmitter can be set to pass embedded digital audio, embed the analog audio, or automatically embed the analog audio when no digital audio is detected. The DTP2 T 211 is compatible with the entire range of DTP-enabled products to support sources at remote locations.
